    BTE's hardened input shaft is constructed from Vasco 300 heat treated steel. Manufactured in-house by BTE, this shaft is not only strengthened for up to 2500 horsepower applications, but it also features a high efficiency cooling circuit to transfer fluid from the torque converter to the transmission cooler. This shaft is also universal, working in both 1.76 and 1.82 configurations. This ringless shaft is configured to work with our special 3 bushing pump to ensure proper cooler flow.
