USED SURPLUS DERRICK STAINLESS STEEL LINEAR MOTION SCREEN
WET DEWATERING VIBRATOR MODEL 2E48-120-4M
This is a surplus and was originally purchased to clean up a coal ash spill in a local waterway. It was only used for this short job and then stored for about 12 years inside and then moved to our location and stored its remaining time outside. The entire unit is made of stainless steel for long term usage. It came with 2 sets of screens but those will need replaced as the steel screens have deteriorated and the other polyweb screens are deformed from improper storage. The stainless screen holders are in good condition, all the screens and stainless holders are now on a pallet and shown in the 2nd to last photo.
This unit has 2 of their 2.5HP vibratory motors, the tag is shown on the last photo and was difficult to photograph. You can find the details on the Derick website and this model is still produced today and shown on their scrolling home page for linear screens. I also have the PDF drawing for the unit from Derrick. This same model today sells retail for >6,000 new with over 30 weeks delivery so you can get yours at a fraction of retail cost.
Due to the size and weight being 6150 pounds, you will need to arrange for transport. We can safely load on your properly load rated vehicle at our large commercial location (we can load equipment over 50 ton)

Linear Motion machines have a long history of performing in trash screening and wet scalping applications. They are designed for high volumetric capacity when fed dilute slurry with a low percentage of oversize solids. This performance characteristic is achieved by the use of Derrick Vibrators rotating in opposite directions creating high g-force, true linear motion causing forward, uphill conveyance of solids out of the fluid pool that forms near the feed end of the machine. Head or pressure from the liquid pool enhances the fluid throughput through the screen panels. The high g-force acceleration and uphill movement of the solids promotes the production of an Oversize fraction that is consistently stackable and conveyable.
When fitted with high g-force Derrick vibrators and fed thickened slurry, typically from hydrocylcone underflow, the Linear Motion machines perform a dewatering function that enhances the removal of free liquid from the Oversize solids. Derrick Fines Recovery Systems utilize this combination of small diameter hydrocyclones and Linear Motion machines to recover and dewater solids as fine as 325 mesh (45 microns). Numerous systems can be found operating in sand, aggregate, coal, concrete, graphite dewatering applications worldwide.
Linear Motion machines are available to meet the variable screening capacity needs of the industrial minerals, precious metals, industrial wastewater and municipal wastewater industries. Abrasion resistant urethane coatings and sealed-for-life Derrick vibrators assure long-life, low maintenance operation. DETAILS/CONDITION:
This is a preowned unit and when stored was in working condition, but has been stored for almost 20 years so some components may need replaced.
I have no way to verify or test this unit so it is being sold as in with no returns. A
ll the main components are stainless steel so time does not effect stainless like painted or coated steel.
