These blasters are used to bead blast walls on tanks, buildings, or ships.
This Kyoei GB-290 Vertical Shot Blasting Machine being sold AS IS for parts or repair.
This unit is missing the controller.
We did apply power to the machine and were able to run the following by pushing the contactor block; shotblast wheel, travel wheels, vacuum blower, bead feeder, and the hoist.
The hoist only travelled in the down direction to lower the machine.
It may need the controller to go in the up direction.
The shotblast wheel motor is 20 hp Baldor electric motor.
The power cable is 156 feet long.
The hour meter only reads 10 hours.
The electrical control box is very clean inside.
This machine was in storage for 20 years.
We could not find any electrical schematic on the machine.
I’m sure a good electrician with some time on his hands can figure out how to wire a controller for it.
There is a cable that seems like the controller cable that has 6 connections on it.
Unit runs on 460V, 3 phase AC power.
