Description

This vintage hand-painted souvenir creamer was made in Japan, manufacturer unknown.
The ceramic creamer measures approximately 5 ½” in length by 3 ½” in height and features a brown and tan cow, with the tail being the handle and the mouth as the spout.
Printed on the side is the wording, “Souvenir. Of. Washington, D.O.”.
I believe the “D.O.” to be in error instead of “D.C.”.
Considering its fragility this ceramic creamer is in very good condition.
There are some manufacturing flaws (glaze skips and paint flaws), crazing, a small chip on the lower lip and tiny nicks on the tip of both ears.
Despite these flaws this ceramic cow creamer has been well-maintained and would make a nice addition to any collection.
