    Description

Features a vintage map and street directory of Washington DC (from Green Book/B.S. Reynolds) from the New Deal 1930’s, along with a directory of places of interest, airports, apartment buildings, bus routes & terminals, churches & cemeteries, embassies & legations, homes & institutions, hospitals, hotels, parks, police precincts, schools, street car routes, taxicab services and US government offices (from Green Book/B.S. Reynolds, circa late 1930’s).
Note: I do not believe this is the famous Green Book for black travelers in the pre-civil rights era of widespread segregation, an essential guide listing establishments that were amenable to black patronage. It is, rather, the coincidental name of this guidebook from B.S. Reynolds, a publishing company of that era that specialized in postcards and travel guides.
I have estimated the date of publication by looking at the list of embassies and legations, which included Latvia and
Lithuania (which existed in the interwar period of 1920-1940, before being consumed by Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia during WWII, and, after the war, were part of the Soviet Union until 1991).
