Such a great vintage tunic top from Herman Marcus of Dallas, in white linen with pink glass 'buttons' along each shoulder (for decoration), and pink embroidered daisies with green leaves. Very well tailored, with bust darts for shape and slight flare at the hem along with 3" slits in the sides for comfort and style, taped hems, concealed
long
zipper it even has loops just a little lower than the waist for a matching linen long tie to complete the look. It is unlined.
I can see this being worn with wide legged white pants, a straight skirt, leggings, etc., Great for an evening out to a restaurant, on a cruise, drinks on the beach, shopping with a big floppy hat, so many occasions.
Machine wash, delicate cycle.
It does have a Palm Beach vibe!

Herman Marcus Dallas opened in 1957 and was really the only one to put Dallas on the map as far as fashions were concerned. They closed their doors in 1979. I would say this tunic top is from those later years, possible into 1981.
