    TEST REPORT:
Overall, this Superscope R-330 Receiver is a fine performer. It produces robust stereo sound, with equal volume output from both channels. I
tested the unit with a CD player, as well as it's internal AM/FM radio. The CD worked with both inputs: tape monitor, and Aux. The receiver's AM and FM sections both work and produce signal. The cosmetics are not 9/10 or 10/10, but I would say 7/10. In addition, there was some scratchiness in the selector when changing from radio to aux, but not in in the volume and balance controls. To be clear, it was only in the FM mode, with the left channel scratching/cutting out. This was not the case with Aux or Tape Mon (the CD player input), which played equally L & R channels. Such scratchiness is common in older units that have been sitting for decades (this one is over 45 years old!). A little Deoxit spray should take care of things if you are so inclined. I was able to just twist the selector dial back and forth rapidly to achieve a full, balanced output. Happily, the RED stereo indicator light works. Thank you for reading through my observations.
    From the internet:
1975 Vintage Marantz / Superscope receiver - known for its sound, high quality construction and longevity. This receiver has a warm, sweet sound. The super unique aspect is the dial; the warm pink glow is mesmerizing and always gets commented upon by guests, and really works well with the overall aesthetics of the unit.
