Vintage Peacock Doily Embroidery and Crochet Doily Tablecloth
1920's
A treasure pulled out of my Mother's Cedar Chest
It is rare to find a doily with both embroidery and crochet work.
The crochet work was done in Creme color thread.
The peacocks are on cotton fabric with impeccable hand embroidery.
There is one small spot in the middle and we've not tried to get it out.
Its been wrapped in paper and stored in the cedar chest as long as I can remember
