    Description

Vintage Porcelain Coin Bank US Capitol Building 1963-1969
Vintage bank that was most likely sold as a Washington, DC souvenir between 1963-1969.  The bank is the front of the US Capitol building and is made out of white porcelain. There is a hole where a miniature flag would be placed, but it is missing. The top has a picture and quote by Kennedy. One side has a list of the first 36 presidents and the other has the corresponding picture. On the back is the National Anthem. At one time yellow felt was glue to the bottom, but was removed so owner could access the coins stored inside. A great nostalgic item in great condition, no chips or cracks. This is a rare item.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my item!
I love pairing quality collectibles with wonderful collectors! Some of my items are available for international sales.  If you are interested, please message me before you purchase or make an offer.
All of my items are either estate sale/auction finds or I am selling on behalf of family members. Because of this, one should expect some wear and condition will not be new (unless specifically stated as such). I do my very best to research and provide accurate information about each item. I examine every item closely and if I notice any flaws, I will include it in my description. However, I am only human and may not catch everything.
Please look carefully at all pictures provided! I try to photograph from every possible angle and am willing to supply you with more pictures upon request, or answer any questions you may have. Please do so BEFORE you purchase. All sales are final. All items sold ‘AS IS’.
I do combine shipping for multiple items and my policy is I refund the difference in shipping costs once I know how much the larger, heavier box will cost. Please keep in mind a larger box does not always equal cost savings on shipping. It is not common, but there have been instances where two smaller boxes were cheaper to ship than one large box that fits everything. Also, I will combine only if items can be shipped together without damage. For instance, I rarely ship a heavy item with a delicate breakable item.
Refunds for items themselves are only given in the event there is substantial damage due to shipping. International buyers are responsible for paying for shipping insurance on their items and in the event of shipping damage, must file claims directly with company delivering the package.
I will not provide refunds for items stolen after delivery has been made or for international orders that are ‘lost’ by postal service (so please insure). I apologize if this seems harsh, but I’ve had to update my policy due to scammers.
